*I'm Back with Waffles!!!!!!!
The morning started out very well! TMG made Old-Fashioned Chelsea Waffles from Vegan Brunch: Homestyle Recipes Worth Waking Up For--From Asparagus Omelets to Pumpkin Pancakes by the fabulous and famous vegan chef Isa Chandra Moskowitz!! This is the second time this week that he has made them! They're crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside like a good waffle should be. Maple syrup from a friend added to their deliciousness. What will we eat next from this cookbook?
*On my honor I will try to be a good blogger and live by the vegefattien law.

daiya
dayia is a vegan cheese substitute. I used it to make some nachos tonight and I must say it wasn't too bad! Straight out of the bag I find it kind of yukky but melted it is ok. I wouldn't care if I ever ate it again but it is nice to have a choice that does not contain dairy. I will try it again on something other than crapola food... perhaps some nice whole wheat bread...

Carolyn Was Right!
There has been a vegan Italian Sausage and Fire-Roasted Veggie Tofurky Pizza in the ol' freezer for more than a few weeks... When I saw it at Healthy Living I wanted to try it but it scared me. I have had too many bad vegan cheese experiences! Actually there were just a few but that is still too many. My friend, Carolyn, encouraged me to try it a couple of times... I finally decided to try it... and it was/is yummy! The cheese actually melted! Success!
